Character Name: Boonnam Mookjai
Nickname: Boon
- Physical Description
He is a tall, broad-shouldered Thai man. He has multiple tattoos covering him head to toe, his most prized tattoo being the large, circular Sak Yant tattoo he got before serving in the military. He has a strict workout routine that keeps him muscular. He has an undercut with longer hair at the top that he slicks back with gel. He has vitiligo that primarily effects his facial, neck, shoulder, and hair pigmentation. Because of this, there is a large white spot of hair prominent in the front and speckled throughout the rest of his otherwise black hair. He wears predominantly black clothing, including suits, workout clothes, and casual wear.
- Personality
Boon enjoys being alone. He does not interact with much of his family, choosing to isolate himself from everyone other than his grandmother and parents. He does not show emotion often unless you are a close friend or family member. Being ex-military, he is very punctual and does not mess around. He also has anger issues that he regularly must keep and check and uses the gym to cool down any anger he has. Now that he is thirty-five, he is more relaxed but still runs a tight ship. Once you get to know him, he is soft and approachable, even smiling and crying if you are close to him.
- Family History
His family has generational wealth that they made through both illicit businesses through mob dealings and legitimate businesses that can sway the economy. He is reserved when it comes to most family members. His grandmother had six children, and his great uncle had thirteen, so he has a lot of cousins. Out of all of them, he is close with three of them, Chakrii, Lawan, and Somchai. Chakrii and he share similar fashion sense, Chakrii often taking inspiration for his looks from Boon’s outfits. Lawan and Somchai are like siblings to him. After their father (Boon’s uncle) was murdered, his parents stepped up and helped their mother raise them. He is closest with the two, even sharing a tattoo business with Somchai. Lawan is the one to make him soft most often. She has helped him create a love for Sanrio characters, girl music groups, and she makes him regularly dress up in cute outfits (in private) with her to play dress up.
Boon is closest with his grandmother. He visits her regularly, not only to spend time with her as his grandmother, but also as the head of the mafia portion of the family businesses. He has been named her successor, and when she passes, he will take over, so he is learning everything he can to continue the legacy. Besides this, they are super close, and despite him moving to a new country to start a new family business venture, they talk at least once a day.
- Personal Conflicts
He cannot seem to quit smoking. It is his nervous tick and something he grabs at every time he needs to calm down. His biggest personal conflict however is his addictive personality and his addictions to heroin and cocaine. He tries to work out to replace the addiction, but he relapses regularly. He has a support system in the new city he is in with Somchai and his new friend, Ptolemy. Together, Ptolemy and Somchai try to steer him away to being clean and support him whenever possible.

- Who has the most influence on Boon?
His grandmother, two sisters, Ptolemy, Lawan, and his mother have the most influence on his life. They are the ones that have helped him the most and he trusts them with his life.
- If he could change one thing from his past, what would it be?
He would have never picked up any addiction other than a cigarette.
- What would make him cry the most?
If he lost his grandmother or Lawan. He and Lawan have a past with addiction and if she died because of an overdose, he would never be able to forgive himself.
- What did he want to be when he grew up?
He wanted to be a pilot when he grew up. He did not have the eyesight though, so he instead became part of the Thai special forces.
- Who is his favorite musical artist?
He would never admit this to anyone besides a select few, but he is a huge Taylor Swift fan. This is thanks to Lawan for getting him into it. They now regularly go to concerts together, sometimes dragging Somchai with.
